PROGRAMS
1. Capacity Development

Providing training and tools for non-profit management, governance and accountability including: leadership development, learning culture, human rights frameworks, social development approaches, change management, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL), programmatic and financial effectiveness. Additionally, developing systems and processes in organizations for institutional capacity-building such as: strategic planning, human resources, conducting research, utilizing GPS to improve targeting and monitoring and evaluation (M&E), designing programs and projects for humanitarian response, peacebuilding and development.

2. Parnership and Advocacy

Piloting and refining innovative contextualized models and frameworks, sharing knowledge and complementary skills via digital channels, promoting peace, localization, integration of social development principles of inclusive participation and empowerment, gender equality and youth inclusion. Itar also sees inclusive partnerships as a key mechanism to identify shared outcomes and develop strategies to further joint advocacy agendas.

3. Building Sector Infrastructure

Defining common business processes and value chain for the civil society (CS) sector by enabling digital transformation to process activities in a more effective manner for improved impact in development and humanitarian response efforts. Also, designing automated management and finance systems and developing software focusing on best-practice structures, guidelines and processes. Such investments will help in developing a standardized view of the sector in Yemen, its business processes and allow leading organizations to serve as a bridge working through platforms to build a stronger sector.
